Inspirada en la naturaleza

No suelo hacer diseños así, me refiero a claramente inspirados en algo, naturaleza en este caso. Pero me apetecía hacer uno, solo por probar. Y la verdad es que no estoy del todo mal con el resultado, aunque creo que me me convencería más en  otros colores.

I don't usually do designs like this, I mean clearly inspired by something, nature in this case. But I felt like doing one, just to try it. And actually, I am not very upset with the result, but I think it would convice me with other colors.

Long dress

Bueno, hoy toca variar y subir un vestido largo, que subo poquísimos.

Well, today it's time to change and upload a long dress, that I've uploaded just a few.

Style

Mientras dibujaba, me he puesto a pensar en mí, en mi estilo, en cómo lo definiría, y me he dado cuenta de qué no lo sé. Si me preguntaran cuál es mi estilo, me quedaría en blanco.

Tras esta reflexión me he puesto a mirar mis diseños y me he dado cuenta de que dibujo mucho mini-vestidos (cuando realmente yo no los llevo tanto) y clutchs (cuando yo soy de bolsos grandes, principalmente porque todas mis cosas no caben en uno pequeño). También me he dado cuenta también de que gran parte de mis vestidos tienen volúmenes. Así es como me he fijado en mi estilo. 

Pero lo cierto es que no visto como dibujo. 

Así que mi siguiente paso a sido echar un vistazo a mi armario. Y he entendido porque no podría definir mi estilo. Porque me gusta la variedad, el estilo de mis pantalones no se parecen a mis faldas, ni las faldas se parecen entre sí. Creo que cualquiera que me comprase ropa lo tendría bastante difícil porque no podría pensar en si una prenda es o no de mi estilo. Lo que a la vez es una ventaja ya que yo soy de las que piensa que casi cualquier prenda bien conjuntada puede ser bonita.

Ahora os toca: ¿Cómo definiríais vosotros vuestro estilo?

While I was drawing I started thinking about me, my style, about how would I define it, and I realized that I don't know it. If someone asked me what is my style, I wouldn't be able to answer.

After this reflection I started looking at my designs and I realized that I draw a lot of minidresses (when I don't wear them that much) and clutchs (when I am a big bag girl, mainly because all my stuff doesn't fit in a small bag). I also realized that most of my dresses have volumes. That's how I looked at my style.

But the true is that I don't wear as I draw.

So my next step was looking at my wardrobe. And I understood why I couldn't define my style. Because I like variety, the style of my pants is not similar to my skirts, my skirts aren't alike. I think that anyone who'd buy me clothes would have a hard time because he or she wouldn't be able to know if a garment is of my style or not. But that is an advantage, because I'm that kind of person who thinks that almost any garment, with the right outfit, can be pretty.

Adelantando acontecimientos

Tengo que culpar a mi buena amiga Silvia (aquí tenéis su blog) de que me tenga en pleno septiembre pensando en el mes de mayo. Aún estando en agosto me contó que ya tenía su vestido para la graduación, ya que ambas estamos en el último año de Instituto y claro, su adelanto me ha tenido pensando en qué voy a llevar yo para la graduación. Así que me puse a dibujar y he llegado a la conclusión de que quiero ir de rojo, de corto y con una tira negra a la altura de la cintura. 

I have to blame my good friend Silvia (here is her blog) of having me in the middle of September thinking in May. While it was August she told me that she already got her dress for prom, because we both are in our last year of high school, and, of course her advance got me thinking what am I gonna wear for prom. So I started drawing and I came to the conclusion that I want to wear a red dress, short and with a black band in the waist.

Purple and yellow. Perfect combination

Dicen que el amarillo es un color difícil de combinar, no lo dudo, pero si yo tuviera que apostar por un color para conjuntar con el amarillo, sin duda sería el morado. 

¿Con qué color soléis llevar el amarillo?

People say that yellow is a color that is hard to combinate, I don't doubt it, but if I had to bet on a color to combinate with yellow, it would definetly be the purple.

Blondie

Juro que no ha sido a propósito, nada más terminar este diseño me he dado cuenta que es totalmente del estilo de Patricia Conde en Sé lo que hicisteis (un programa de la televisión española que recientemente ha sido quitado). Me encantaba ese programa, una lástima que lo hayan quitado.

I swear you it wasn't on purpose, when I ended this design I realized that it's totally of Patricia Conde's style in Sé lo que hicisteis (a spanish TV show that has recently been removed). I loved that show, such a shame they removed it.

Pink bag, pink Tee, pink shoes.

El rosa, uno de mis colores favoritos, sobretodo a la hora de vestir informal, este sería un conjunto que llevaría bastante si lo tuviera.

Pink, one of my favourite colors, mainly when I'm wearing casual, this would be an outfit that I would wear a lot if I had it.

Dark

Cada vez queda menos de vacaciones, ya dentro de nada llega el momento de volver a la rutina y tengo que decir que no me apetece para nada. Otro año más de instituto, pero este ya será el último, lo que me consuela y me asusta al mismo tiempo. Me consuela porque sé que por fin podré estudiar exactamente lo que me gusta. Me asusta porque no sé qué es lo que realmente me gusta.

Now we have less time of vacations, in a few days the moment of going back to the routine will come and i have to say that I don't want to at all. One more year of high school, but this one will be the last one, that comforts and scares me at the same time. It comforts me because I know that I'll finally be able to study exactly what I like. It scares me because I don't know what I really like.

A perfectly planned life

Es el momento de mirar al futuro, pero siempre sin olvidar el pasado. Este punto de mi vida tenía que llegar tarde o temprano, y ya ha llegado, el momento de preguntarme qué voy a hacer el resto de mi vida. Podría ponerme a imaginar una vida perfectamente planeada, pero las cosas nunca se desarrollan como se planean, así que no voy a tomármelo demasiado en serio y simplemente voy a caminar hacia delante.

It's the moment to look to the future, without forgetting the past. This point of my life had to come sooner or later, and it had come, the moment of asking myself what am I gonna do the rest of my life. I could start imagining a perfectly planned life, but things never go as planned, so I'm not taking it too seriously and I'll just walk forward.

Esto es lo que se consigue en un momento aburrido, es simplemente un dibujo, porque la camiseta no es que sea demasiado difícil de dibujar, que se diga, de todas maneras, ¿qué opináis?

This is what you get from a bored moment, it's just a draw, because the tank top is not really very hard to draw, anyway, what do you think about it?

Antes de nada, perdón, sé que llevo 4 meses sin actualizar pero he estado ocupada terminando el curso y ¡de viaje en Estados Unidos! Pero bueno, tras esta pausa me he prometido a mi misma que actualizaré más el blog, como poco una vez al mes, pero eso empieza en septiembre/octubre porque todavía me quedan un par de meses ocupados. 

First of all, sorry, I know I've been 4 months without renewing but I've been busy finishing the schoolyear and on a trip in the United States! But, well, after this pause I promised myself that I'll renew more this blog, at least once a month, but that starts in September/October because I still have a couple of busy months.

Bueno, una amiga (visitad su blog) me envió unas siluetas con las que había hecho algunos diseños a ordenador, así que me puse a intentarlo y esta es mi 2ª prueba, sinceramente, espero mejorar con esto del diseño a ordenador. 

Well, a friend (check out her blog) sent me some silhouettes with whom she had done some designs with the computer, so I started to try it and this is my 2nd try, sincerelly, I hope to improve with this of the computer design.
